The CJMT Range of Gear Skiving machines comprises machines for 150mm diameter, 320mm diameter and the 500mm diameter size.
The machines are buit with superior quality parts, sourced from European suppliers.
The cutter is capable of high-speed cutting along with the teeth profile and lead, which greatly increases the machining efficiency. The process is therefore 3 ~ 5 times faster than Shaping, and more economical for mass machining.
With high precision, double direct drive torque motors leading to high rotation precision; surface roughness and pitch accuracy is much better than Gear Shaping. The process offers higher flexibility and precision than broaching for batch processing. Smaller retraction distance than Hobs, and suitable for high speed cutting of external gears with small gap space.
The CJMT Power Skiving Machines have spindles with cental bore enabling coolant to flow through, which enables full lubrication of the cutter and improves cutter life.
Optional automatic cutter changing function is available to switch between rough and finish machining.
Automatic cutter protection is available as standard function to avoid cutter damage.
